PRODUCT PACKAGING & LABELING

The successful candidate must bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to work each day. Additional responsibilities will be in supporting the warehouse receiving and staging activity.

Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the put-away, pulling and packing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, along with re-packaging, kitting and sorting inbound products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Label Parts – with a marking gun or creating them on computer
  • Repackaging Parts – many parts are rebagged or reboxed
  • Making Sets/Kits – sets comprised of items from same family, kits comprised of items from different families
  • Bar Code – created through computer system and required by some distributors
  • Sterilization of Parts – parts are autoclaved and then put in sterilization pouch and labelled
  • Etching – using an etching machine to apply brand name to various vet instruments
  • Shrink Wrap – using shrink wrap machine for various products, cut to size and then label

Job Requirements 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to respond quickly and professionally to changing requirements
  • Ability to accurately count and maintain inventory.
  • PC skills; ability to learn new material management applications
  • Understanding of the AS400 material management system
  • Knowledge, understanding and commitment to follow and comply with all of Safety practices.

DISTRIBUTION MATERIAL HANDLERPOSITION OPEN – APPLICATION

Primary responsibilities include order processing, material handling and use of AS400 inventory software. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a high-volume production or distribution team environment. The successful candidate must bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to work each day. Additional responsibilities will be in supporting the warehouse receiving and staging activity.

Candidate must have a solid understanding of parcel/multi shipping activity, along with the basic knowledge of LTL shipping. Distribution jobs may include the driving of a company truck to transport materials locally between warehouse and operational sites.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Put-away, pulling and packaging of materials, parts, supplies and equipment
  • Re-packaging, kitting and sorting inbound products
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks
  • Verify inbound and outbound shipments
  • Labeling products
  • Maintaining inventory levels

Job Requirements 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to respond quickly and professionally to changing requirements
  • Ability to accurately count and maintain inventory.
  • PC skills; ability to learn new material management applications
  • Understanding of the AS400 material management system
  • Ability to work on a team and focus on satisfying internal customer needs
  • Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices.
  • Must provide a up to date and clean Colorado Motor Vehicle (Driver) License (if operating company vehicle)

Current or Prior 49 CFR and/or IATA Certification in Hazmat, Dangerous Goods compliance, a plus to possess prior knowledge in the area of international shipping/export experience, must be willing to maintain or re-certify within 90 days of hire.

VETERINARY TECH SERVICES

Job Responsibilities 

  • Answer phones from both customer service and technical support lines
  • Reply to emails from distributors, sales managers, and customers.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for products and equipment.
  • Issue proper paperwork for product repairs and returns.
  • Enter orders
  • Provide inside support to our outside regional sales managers.
  • Work a sales meeting or conference

Job Requirements 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to respond quickly and professionally to changing requirements
  • PC skills; including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new material management applications
  • Understanding of the AS400 material management system
  • Knowledge, understanding and commitment to follow and comply with all of Safety practices.

ADMINISTRATION

The successful candidate must bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to work each day. Additional responsibilities will be in supporting other administrators, veterinary service technicians, warehouse personnel or management with daily operation.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Answer calls for customer service
  • Reply to emails from distributors, sales managers, customers and other Jorgensen team members
  • Assist customers with order discrepancies
  • Filing of invoices
  • Enter daily orders and show orders
  • Customs for foreign shipments

REGIONAL MANAGERS

Primary responsibilities include detailing and selling veterinary instruments and equipment through distributors to veterinarians and veterinary clinics within sales territory.  Provide support to distributor representatives and make sales calls to veterinary clinics.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Call on distributors and veterinarians to generate sales
  • Understand the needs of distributors and provide product information and services to satisfy those needs
  • Have a good knowledge of product line and services offered
  • Be able to detail products and promotions for distributors and veterinarians
  • Meet sales goals and budget for territory
  • Be a resource for distributor sales representatives, distributors and veterinarians
  • Make presentations at sales meetings and represent company at various meetings and conventions

Job Requirements 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Work cohesively as a team with other regional managers, inside veterinary technicians and home office personel
  • Capability to respond quickly and professionally to changing requirements
  • Ability to accurately record activities in the field through CRM
  • PC skills; ability to learn new material management applications
  • Minimum Degree: High School/GED
  • Traveling will be 50-75% including overnights

Experience Requirements 

  • 6 to 10 years in veterinary field sales
